ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – Columbia Southern University (CSU), a leader in providing online education to active duty and veteran students, signed an institution eligibility agreement late last year that authorized CSU to participate in the Alabama National Guard Educational Assistance Program (ANGEAP).
The program is a state student assistance program established by the Alabama Legislature and is designed to provide financial assistance to Alabama National Guard members who are residents of the of Alabama and are enrolled in a certificate program at an accredited community or technical college or a degree program at an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning located within Alabama.
“This agreement allows CSU to provide meaningful educational opportunities to guard members,” said CSU President Ken Styron. “Additionally, we can accept transfer credits and help them determine what degree program is best for their career dreams.”
CSU offers numerous degrees at the associate, bachelor, master’s and doctoral levels and features a College of Military Studies and Leadership.
