Columbia Southern University Expands Doctoral Program Offerings, Adds 7 New Programs

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Columbia Southern University (CSU) creates more educational opportunities with the addition of seven new degree programs, four of which were developed for doctoral students.

According to Forbes magazine’s February 2024 issue, the Survey of Earned Doctorates cited an uptick in research doctorates earned in 2022, the largest year-over-year growth since 1970 at 10.3%. This recent growth has spurred CSU to address the issue of offering more doctoral degrees for working students.

The new programs include:

  • Associate of Science in Leadership
  • Master of Science in Human Resources – Instructional Design and Technology Concentration
  • Master of Science in Organizational Leadership – Instructional Design and Technology Concentration
  • Doctor of Business Administration – Business Management Concentration
  • Doctor of Business Administration – Emergency Management Concentration
  • Doctor of Business Administration – Occupational Safety and Health Concentration
  • Doctor of Business Administration – Organizational Leadership Concentration

“In an effort to help meet today’s demand for more graduate level education, we have launched several degree concentrations that target growing career fields. Our programs offer advanced learning meant to empower those who want to guide and challenge the business of their career fields for the betterment of all,” said CSU President Ken Styron, DBA.
