BBA 4126: Project Planning

Description

Provides the tools to understand, design, and apply systematic project management organization and administration. In addition to learning how to satisfy customer needs, this course will assist students in applying budgeting concepts, managing production time, investing resources, and creating performance specifications designed within defined requirements.

Outcomes

  1. Explain the relationship between the technical and sociocultural sides of a project.
  2. Evaluate the strengths and weakensses of different organizational structures, such as functional, matrix, and projectized.
  3. Discuss guidelines for creating a work breaksdown structure (WBS).
  4. Develop a process for determining the critical path method (CPM).
  5. Examine the challenges associated with international project management.
  6. Explain the risk management process, including risk identification, analysis, and response.
  7. Distinguish the differences between traditional project management and agile project management.
  8. Formulate a project plan to present to stakeholders.
