Save time and money by taking advantage of Columbia Southern University’s BS to MS Accelerated Program. By qualifying and enrolling in an accelerated program, students have the opportunity to finish their master’s degree sooner, and save money on tuition, by opting into master’s level courses while enrolled in a bachelor’s program.

What is the BS to MS Accelerated Program?

Accelerated programs allow students to take two master’s level courses while enrolled in their bachelor’s program when completing their undergraduate degree. Master’s courses taken during the bachelor’s program will automatically transfer once students enter their master’s program.

Why should I enroll in an accelerated program?

Accelerated programs reduce the total number of courses a student takes by two. Depending how many courses students take per term, students may earn their degree one or two terms earlier than a traditional program. Additionally, students save tuition by taking up to six master’s-level credits at the undergraduate cost.

Am I eligible for the accelerated program?

Students must have at least 60 to 108 of their undergraduate credits completed to be eligible to enroll. Undergraduate students must have a 2.5 GPA average to participate in the BS to MS Accelerated Program. When students are enrolled in the master’s program, they must maintain a 3.0 GPA in the master’s courses, as outlined in the student handbook.
