A certificate is an educational program of study in a specific discipline created for those interested in expanding skills and knowledge for personal and/or professional development. Certificates are credit-based and taught by qualified faculty members. Certificates align with existing curricula and are offered at the undergraduate and graduate level. The Undergraduate Certificate in Emergency Management is an embedded certificate. A student earns an embedded certificate by completing courses that meet the requirements of the embedded certificate within the degree program of record.
