Overview
Columbia Southern University’s Associate of Science in Leadership program equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to excel in group leadership roles across a variety of industries. This program introduces students to foundational leadership theories while enhancing critical leadership competencies, including critical thinking, creative problem-solving, management, and effective communication. The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical and practical elements of leadership relevant to the modern workforce. Successful graduates will be able to articulate foundational leadership skills necessary for supervising, coaching, and mentoring teams; execute fundamental management functions; apply strategic problem-solving techniques to meet organizational objectives; and demonstrate impactful interpersonal skills essential for effective leadership.
Multiple factors, including prior experience, geography and degree field, affect career outcomes. CSU does not guarantee a job, promotion, salary increase, eligibility for a position, or other career growth.

Tuition Rates
Our goal is to provide the strongest online academic programs at an affordable rate. On average, our tuition is less than half the cost of our competitors.

*Rates are per credit hour. Most courses are three (3) credit hours. Tuition and fees are payable in U.S. funds. Tuition rates are subject to change. CSU’s tuition rate for associate, bachelor’s and master’s courses is $250 per credit hour for all active-duty military members using tuition assistance except those who are using a Learning Partner discount.
The lower rate is offered to keep the tuition rate at the DoD cap of $250.
† CSU Learning Partners receive a tuition discount that is applied to the full tuition rate.
